🌠Create Events

General events can be hosted by anyone, no approval necessary!

• Everyone with the Brynhildr Discord role can create Discord events.

• Everyone with the Fun Club Discord role can create and manage Discord events.

• Everyone may ping General Roles in ⁠#events to ping about an event. (Example: @Open World Content come to my Treasure Map Party today at 5pm PT!)

• No inclusion on calendar, meeting notes or automatic pings.

Get the roles by visiting the #welcome channel and doing the /xiv iam bot command.

Make your event your way, any way you'd like, and consider pinging people and posting in-game when it's time to start!

How to make a Discord event

Click the Event button at the top of channels

Click Create Event

Select a Location

If you plan to use a Voice Channel, click that option and select the one you want to use.

Otherwise, select Somewhere Else and type in a location.

Fill in Event Info

Add a title, select a date and time (localized to you), how often to run it, a description and image!

Review and Create Event!

You can use the link that's provided to post about your event.

Feel free to post in the #events channel and ping a role to let people know about your event!

You can click the ... by your event to edit, manually start, or cancel your event.
