# Hatching Tide Screenshot Contest

Spring, bunnies, chickens, spriggans, eggs, chocolate, and pastels! What comes to your mind when you think of Hatching Tide? Get ready to show us with the Fun Club Hatching Tide Screenshot Contest! During the month of April take a screenshot of how your character looks for Hatching Tide!

### How to Enter <a href="#mz1fpp6tuyza" id="mz1fpp6tuyza"></a>

1. **Visit the Fun Club Discord&#x20;**<mark style="color:purple;">**#**</mark><mark style="color:purple;">📝</mark><mark style="color:purple;">**event-signup**</mark>**&#x20;channel and react to the sign-up post.**
   * Reacting to the post will enter you as a contestant and grants permission to post your screenshot in the <mark style="color:purple;">🐣#hatching-tide-contest</mark> channel.
2. **Capture 1 screenshot that follows the established theme.**
   * <mark style="color:purple;">**Please do not use any mods for this event.**</mark> Shaders and Filters are ok to use though.
   * Screenshots with multiple people in it are allowed, and are entered as a single entry. Each person may enter a *different* screenshot, preferably with a different location and composition.
3. **Go to the Fun Club Discord** <mark style="color:purple;">🐣</mark><mark style="color:purple;">**#hatching-tide-contest**</mark>**&#x20;channel and post your screenshot!**
   * Optionally add a title and comment.
   * Only the last screenshot posted by a contestant will be used for judging.

### Judging <a href="#h9g0n0adnvss" id="h9g0n0adnvss"></a>

<mark style="color:purple;">**Monday, April 23 at 12:00am PT - Sunday, April 30 at 3:00pm PT**</mark>

* Judges will judge screenshots based on Screenshot Contest Scoring Criteria.
* To vote for Popular Choice, submit the form provided in the Discord announcement!
* Winners will be announced at the Sunday, April 30 FC Meeting

### Scoring Criteria

* **Setting:** Setting appropriately matches the theme of the contest without unrelated background elements.
* **Outfit:** Outfit appropriately matches the theme of the contest without mismatching or confusing pieces.
* **Originality:** Screenshot shows relative originality with respect to current trends. Current trends may be reflected, but appropriately interpreted without losing personal flair.
* **Overall creativity:** Screenshot is creatively captured in terms of model pose in relation to the setting, angle used, use of additional flair like frames and stickers, special effects, etc.
* **Overall composition:** Screenshot's combination of elements creates an effect that is well composed with consideration of lighting, colors, foreground, background, subject, flair, effects, etc.
