# Valentine’s Screenshot Contest

How does your character experience the excitement? Capture a screenshot of how your character looks on Valentine’s Day!
### Entry Period
Sunday, January 31, 2022 at 5:00pm (Pacific) - Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 4:00pm (Pacific)
### Theme
With a Valentine’s Day theme, show us how your character experiences the occasion! Wear clothes appropriate for the occasion, and consider a suitably lovely location to take a picture in!
### Prizes
* First Place Prize: 1,500,000 gil
* Second Place Prize: 1,000,000 gil
* Third Place Prize: 500,000 gil
* Popular Choice: 250,000 gil
* Consolation Prize: 50,000 gil
### How to Enter
1. Capture 1 screenshot that follows the established theme.
* Screenshots with multiple people in it are allowed (e.g., couples), and are entered as a single entry. Each person may enter a *different* screenshot, preferably with a different location and composition.
2. Visit the Fun Club Discord #event-signup channel and react to the sign-up post to get permission to post in the #valentines-contest channel.
3. Go to the Fun Club Discord #valentines-contest channel and post your screenshot!
* Optionally add a title and comment.
* Only the last screenshot posted by a contestant will be used for judging.
### Judging
Sunday, February 20, 2022 at 5:00pm (Pacific) - Sunday, February 27, 2022 at 4:00pm (Pacific)
Judges Madam Katherine, Ferric Fireheart and Vi Ria will judge submitted screenshots based on suitability of character clothing and environment to the theme.
Popular choice will be determined by SurveyMonkey poll votes.
Winners will be announced at the FC Meeting onSunday, February 27, 2022 at 5:00pm (Pacific).
### Scoring Criteria
* Setting: Setting appropriately matches the theme of the contest without unrelated background elements.
* Outfit: Outfit appropriately matches the theme of the contest without mismatching or confusing pieces.
* Originality: Screenshot shows relative originality with respect to current trends. Current trends may be reflected, but appropriately interpreted without losing personal flair.
* Overall creativity: Screenshot is creatively captured in terms of model pose in relation to the setting, angle used, use of additional flair like frames and stickers, special effects, etc.
* Overall composition: Screenshot's combination of elements creates an effect that is well composed with consideration of lighting, colors, foreground, background, subject, flair, effects, etc.
